Java Full Stack Developer (Remote Work Positions)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Perform software quality assurance related activities as part of agile project teams;
• Perform software acceptance testing to ensure that software developed corresponds to functional and non-functional requirements, such as quality related acceptance criteria and coding standards
• Perform code reviews and code related testing activities as per confirmed quality assurance requirements
• Able to coordinate and prioritize technical tasks and deliver within agreed timelines

Skills and experience:

• An academic degree in relevant discipline
• 5+ years of experience working on development and operations for Java applications
• Creative and experimental mind-set
• Experience in Java and Spring framework
• Skill for writing reusable Java libraries
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java
• Knack for writing clean, readable Java code
• Experience with Node.js is an added advantage
