Responsibilities

• Ensure that the standards set by Chief Chef are met
• Assist Chief Chef in planning menus, maintaining budgets, costing, and setting prices
• Assign tasks and supervise kitchen staff on the preparation & presentation of food
• Provide direction & guidance to kitchen staff
• Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to food safety & hygiene regulations
• Maintain clean & sanitary kitchen
• Inspect raw & cooked food to ensure the highest quality products arc prepared & served
• Minimize food waste

Qualifications

• Diploma in Culinary from a recognized hotel school
• Possess 02 years experience as an Executive Chef in a reputed restaurant
• Be well versed in Sri Lankan & Western Cuisine, with a focus on presentation
• Good leadership & communication skills
