MANAGER – LEGAL AND CORPORATE SERVICES
Job Role
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc. ) and build a good rapport
• Draft agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the Company’s full legal rights
• Write case briefs and synopses of depositions and contracts
• Produce and file various legal documents such as appeals, motions or petitions
• Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by providing timely reminders
Qualifications and Experience Required
• Attorney -at-law and Notary public with the license to practice in Colombo
• Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in handling instructing attorney work, conveyance and company secretarial /legal practices.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law procedures
