  • Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
  • Enhancing current dishes and creating new menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality.
  • Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff.
  • Overrsee the work of subordinates.
  • Approve and fine tune dishes before they reach the customer.
  • Managing and working closely with other chefs af all levels.
  • Determining food inverntory needs, stocking and ordering.
  • Being responsible for health and safety.
  • Being responsible for food hygiene practices.
  • Overseeing the creation of recipes and menus.

Requirements.

  • Proven Experience as Head Chef for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Excertional proven ability of kitchen management.
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
  • Very Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Up to date with culinary trends and optimizes kitchen peocesses.
  • Good understanding of useful computer programs.(MS Office)
