Production Supervisor

SALARY: Negotiable

One of our clients who is a multinational tea production company based in Colombo is looking for an experienced “Production Supervisor” to join with them immediately.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Hire and train employees.
• Assign responsibilities and oversee employees.
• Prepare and maintain the production schedule.
• Evaluate production efficiency.
• Determine the quality of goods before shipping.
• Submit reports on performance and progress.
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Ensure that health and safety laws are followed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an advantage
• At least 2 – 4 years of experience in FMCG production environment as a Production
• A supervisor or similar role.
• Good knowledge of production systems. (Preferably in FMCG)
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and problem-solving attitude.
• Team player with a pleasing personality.
