Software Engineer (Java)

Requirements

• Experience in Agile scrum development methodology and working Scrum teams
• Programming Languages; Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js
• API Development Stack – JSON / REST
• Security – HTTPS Setup and Configuration / TLS 2.0
• Monitoring and Altering Tools – ELK Stack
• Container Development – Docker and Kubernetes 1.8 and higher
• CI/CO Pipeline – Jenkins
• Code Quality/ Security Tools – Sonarqube, FindBugs, and Skipfish
• Testing Tools – Junit, Selenium, PyUnit

Qualifications and Related Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Overall 2+ years of experience on Java-related technologies in implementing one or more of; Micro Services, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration
• Management, Event Queues, and messaging will be a definite advantage
• Experience in API Driven Development and Pair Programming
• Experience in Oracle Forms/ Reports, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment
