Geo Explore Foundation is a path-finder in sustainable development. Our mandate includes biodiversity conservation, agro-forestry, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism, and the development of human potential.
We have a 16-acre nature enclave in Buttala that’s your canvass.
There’s a river and a growing forest. There’s also a giant eco villa in the shape of an elephant that makes us famous. Now we want a talented, creative, and ambitious person who can turn this canvass into a green paradise by using the following colors:
• Create a bio-diverse forest garden with innovative natural landscaping.
• Grow a natural farm with fruit and veggies.
• Coordinate biodiversity/agriculture/forestry research and development activities
• Coordinate eco-tourism development
We are looking for a dreamer who can wake up and make new ideas happen and lead from the front.
Candidate Profile
• Good educational background in agriculture/agroforestry/environmental sciences etc. A recognized degree will be an advantage while those with experience will also be considered.
• Good knowledge of forestry, landscaping, sustainable agriculture, food technology, etc will give you the edge.
• Male/female, 24-45 – must be willing to be resident at our Field Base in Buttala and be a nature lover and lead a small team.
• Must be willing to start immediately. Food/accommodation provided.
