Accountant

The Green Door cafe is a restaurant located in the heart of Nawala serving a variety of Fusion Cuisine. We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The person hired must be able to manage multiple accounts of our restaurant and the furniture company that are located together

Responsibilities
• Prepare item wise costing for the restaurant

• Updating of the special restaurant Accounting system

• Auditing financial documents and procedures

• Reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Management accounts

• Prepare EPF and ETF calculations

• Manage all suppliers related to the restaurant and overlook purchasing

• Report to the Management on company’s financial heath and liquidity

Minimum Requirements
• Part qualified CIMA or Chartered

• 2-3 year experience in the restaurant field is a plus

• Hands-on experience with Accounting software

• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
